Ok guys, let me tell you something — having a 10 year old daughter in this day in age is a real struggle, at least when it comes to clothing.
I struggle so hard trying to find appropriate clothing for a 10 year old girl. I should also mention that my 10 year old girl is not built like an average girl her age.
She is very tall and shapely and I fear it won’t be long until her and I are sharing clothes — eek! But until that day comes, I am left searching for clothes that fit her body appropriately and fashionably.
I can’t stand shopping for children’s clothes in the typical children’s stores. I find that the kid’s clothes today are either plastered with dumb sayings or they’re just plain ugly and tacky.
I have spent a lot of time online trying to find small boutique style clothing for kids and I recently came across a enticing clothing company on Instagram called LeleGray Boutique and I immediately hit the follow button.
This was the post that grabbed my eye:

I absolutely love that their clothes are fashionable yet modest. Their whole line of clothing is so appealing for those awkward tween years.
I ordered my daughter the Anna dress and I have to say that she received so many compliments on this dress.

She wore it to church a few Sundays ago and all the mothers came rushing up to me to ask where I got her that dress.

Simply classic and timeless. Like a throwback to the days where little girls would get all dressed up to go to an ice cream social after Sunday church.

I like this dress because it’s perfect for many different occasions. It can be dressed up, dressed down and it’s tea length so it’s more than acceptable for any event.

The cinched waist is perfect for my daughter’s shapely figure. It’s flowy and light so it’s going to be perfect for those hot summer months. The colour is stunning perfection and I also love the sheer sleeves.

My only wish would be that it would come in my size 😉
There are tons of other dresses on the site that are so appealing. I will definitely be placing another order soon!

As we spent the day walking around and taking pictures, I watched my daughter as she walked in this dress and it occurred to me the power of clothing.
As she moved, I noticed her walk. It was different than she has ever walked before. She walked with her shoulders back, her head held high and a light skip in her step.

It was almost as if she was skipping on air, frolicking and flaunting her new dress — feeling like a true little lady.

When we were done taking photos, she looked at me and said, “Mom, thank you for my new dress. I feel like a princess.”

Watching her walk with confidence and without a care in the world, was really something to take in. The clothes we wear really do have the power to change how we carry ourselves.

If you have a tween girl and you are looking for affordable, stylish and timeless clothing, you should definitely check out LeleGray Boutique.

You can also find them on Instagram and Facebook, too.

I will definitely be purchasing more of their stunning pieces for my daughter. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
