DIY Christmas Car Ornaments

Guys, can I just start off by saying that to date, I think this might be my favorite DIY that I have made.

We all know that the red Christmas truck with the tree is still huge and popular for yet another Christmas … and hey, I am totally ok with that.

I came up with the cutest ornament ever — if I do say so myself.

It’s so cute I want to just get right into the project, so let’s go!

If you want to recreate this project, here is everything you will need:

Mini Christmas Trees (I got mine from Dollar Tree but I found something similar on Amazon.)

Dinky Cars

DecoArt SnowTex

DecoArt Acrylic Paint Country Red

Twine

To being this project, I painted my dinky cars with Country Red from DecoArt.

I did apply 3 coats of paint to make sure the colour was solid. You do want to make sure that you let the paint dry fully between each coat so that you do not get paint peeling.

Once the paint was dry, I used some hot glue to glue the mini tree on the top of the car.

I used DecoArt SnowTex to apply some snow to cars to give them a more real look rather than them looking like dinky cars.

I tied some twine around them and that’s pretty much it.

So easy guys, and they are so darn cute!!
