Ok, when I look at this pre-fab art it takes me right back to 2005. Anyone else?

I had just moved out on my own and I lived in an apartment with my sister and pieces like this were all the rage. You would see them everywhere and I remember when I bought my first one.

Mine didn’t look like these ones exactly but it was the same idea. I just remember feeling so grown up. Man how times have changed.

Now these types of pre-fab art can be found at every thrift store and garage sale from here to eternity.

My mother scooped these two up from an auction for 99 cents and I knew that I could put them to good use.

I used the backsides of these to create stunning, romantic farmhouse signs for my bedroom and I can’t believe how amazing they turned out. One would never know that on the other side this art still remains.

I chose a quote from Anne of Green Gables for this project. It’s my all-time favorite novel.

I am so in love with this project and I can’t wait til I come across more cheap art pieces so I can make some more!
