Whipped Pumpkin Parfaits

I will share how to make whipped pumpkin parfaits this week on the blog! This delicious fall treat is nothing short of a whipped dream. It’s all the best that pumpkin pie offers without the headache of making a full-out pie!

This past week, a good friend and I planned a little surprise “sprinkle” for another good friend. If you’re thinking, “Sprinkle?” 🤔 What in the world is that? Well, I thought the same thing when my friend came up with the idea to throw this “sprinkle.”

In more correct terms, a baby sprinkle is a toned-down baby shower. The mama-to-be has already had a blowout baby shower with all the bells and whistles for her first child. Still, a light sprinkle is a way to show an expecting mother how much you care, bless them with things they may need, like diapers, wipes, etc., and have a little celebration to show them how much they are loved.

Our friend is due in October for this little sprinkle, and we thought it would be fitting to have a little pumpkin theme. I wanted to make something super cute, so I made some Whipped Pumpkin Parfaits. Today, I will show you how to make them so you can whip some of these up, too!

These would also be great for Thanksgiving celebrations or a delightful fall treat.

Whipped pumpkin parfaits are an ideal fall treat that captivates taste buds with their rich, creamy texture and delightful blend of seasonal flavours. The smooth pumpkin puree, often spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, offers a comforting warmth that evokes the essence of autumn.

Layered with velvety whipped cream and honey graham cracker crumbs, each spoonful delivers a harmonious balance of sweetness and spice, making it an irresistible indulgence.

Not only do these Whipped Pumpkin Parfaits celebrate the iconic flavour of pumpkin, but their vibrant orange hue also adds a festive touch to any fall gathering, making them as visually appealing as they are delicious.

For this recipe, I opted for Vanilla Instant Pudding. You could also use White Chocolate Pudding, but unfortunately, the selection at my grocery store was a little thin. Vanilla pudding does taste just as scrumptious, though!

You will mix the Vanilla Pudding with milk just as the package describes. I used two packages of pudding as I was making it for a crowd, but if you make these at home for the family, you can get away with just one package.

Once you have mixed the pudding according to the package directions, you will want to add your pure pumpkin. It’s essential that you go with pure pumpkin and not pumpkin pie filling. You will add pumpkin pie spice, so you don’t want to overwhelm it with spices.

Mix the pure pumpkin into the pudding mixture and stir well to combine. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice. If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, you could add ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg.

Next, you are going to fold in your whipped cream. Now, I will come clean, folks. I didn’t use natural whipped cream 😬 You see, I had all this leftover aerosol whipped topping and aerosol whipped cream that I wanted to use. I am a massive fan of not letting things go to waste, and honestly, I would rather use them than waste them, so here we are.

But if you’re all about natural, the recipe card below outlines how to make this with real whipped cream.

Once you fold in your whipped cream, you will start putting your parfaits together.

Take your cups and place 1-2 tablespoons of honey graham cracker crumbs in the bottom. You can use more or less—it’s your preference.

Next, spoon in 1-2 tablespoons of the pumpkin mixture, followed by a tablespoon of more whipped cream. Then, repeat this process until you have filled your cup. Top with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon, and your Whipped Pumpkin Parfaits are complete.

Now because I like to take things next level, I also used my Thunder Laser to whip up a cute little decorative stick for my Whipped Pumpkin Parfaits! 😉

Since I was making these cute little whipped pumpkin parfaits for a baby sprinkle, I wanted to add the cute little topper and these sticks were exactly the ticket.

Now, I understand not every one has a laser, but if you’re in the business of always making things, it is definitely something you should consider. I have had my laser for a year and I use it for so many different things.

The money I have saved not having to always buy everything and being able to express myself creatively makes it totally worth it. If you want more information about laser, be sure to check out the Thunder Laser site.

I also have a great unboxing video on my Youtube channel that goes more in-depth about the laser.
