So… tonight’s post is a little different.

One of the things I don’t often (and by that I mean never) talk about on my blog is beauty and makeup. It’s not because I don’t like these things. I love putting on my face just as much as the next gal, but it’s just something I do. I don’t obsess over it, and I don’t really care what kind of makeup I put on my face.

I am the kind of woman that buys whatever makeup happens to be on sale.

Except for my foundation — that is the one thing I will buy the same every time and only because I found the perfect shade for my skin, I don’t dare deviate. It’s not high end or anything either. It’s just plain old Maybelline. You know the whole “maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline”?

Oh, that never gets old.

Anyway, let’s get back to the point here. I wanted to open up my blog a bit and talk about something astonishing that I most recently discovered, and that is lipstick.

I never wear lipstick — or should I say that I never used to wear lipstick.

I hated it. The thought of putting it on my lips and then having to worry all day if it’s smudged or smeared all over my pearly whites just didn’t appeal to me.

I am proud to say, I am now a lipstick lover and an avid wearer of lipstick. Thanks to Lipsense.

Yeah, yeah I know what you’re thinking, “you mean to say that lip stuff that’s all over Facebook?” Yes. That is precisely what I am talking about.

A woman by the name of Cherie reached out to me and wanted me to try this Lipsense that everyone is raving about. Now, I am going to be honest with you guys, as I always am. I thought, sure, I’ll try this stuff and I am sure that it will be just like any other lipstick that I have put on. It will be on for about a minute before I end up wearing it all over my teeth and face.

Well, I don’t often like to admit it, but boy was I wrong.

I put this stuff on and I swear, it didn’t move for days.

The shade I am wearing is Roseberry. I never thought that a darker colour of lipstick would look great on me but I LOVE this colour!

I could go on and on about how amazing this lipstick is, but if you really want to first-hand details you should try this stuff for yourself!

If this lipstick can turn someone like me, who went years and years without ever wearing lipstick into an almost daily lipstick wearing woman than it is definitely worth you trying. Trust me.
